The CPPC is excited to present the Atlantic Public Procurement Power Session on Monday, October 5, 2026, at Casino Nova Scotia in Halifax.
This one-day event will bring together public sector procurement professionals and industry experts for engaging educational sessions designed to deliver valuable insights, practical strategies, and emerging best practices in public procurement. Dedicated content streams for both public and private sector attendees will ensure relevant and actionable takeaways for all participants.

In this session, Stephen Terry of Halifax Regional Municipality, a first-time AEP Award recipient organization, and François Émond, a member of the evaluation team, will share their experience with the award process, from preparation to recognition. Participants will gain insight into the challenges encountered, the commitment required, and the organizational benefits achieved along the way. Beyond the award itself, presenters will discuss the lasting improvements, enhanced credibility, and professional recognition that continue to shape their organizations long after receiving the distinction.
