  • Goverment of Nunavut - Chief Procurement and Logistics Officer

      The Government of Nunavut is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join the Department of Community and Government Services as the Chief Procurement and Logistics Officer. Based in Iqaluit, this critical senior management position leads a centralized, enterprise-wide procurement and contracting service function for the Government of Nunavut (GN). The role also oversees logistics planning and support, ensuring the efficient transportation of goods and materials to Iqaluit and Nunavut’s remote communities, including managing commercial transportation services across the territory. Reporting to the Assistant Deputy Minister of Corporate Services, this position is pivotal in driving value for money in procurement and logistics operations while contributing to economic growth and development in Nunavut.

  • Halifax Water - Procurement Officer
    • Closing date: February 12, 2025

       

      Reporting to the Manager of Procurement, the Procurement Officer will primarily be responsible for the procurement of goods, services, and construction, which are to be conducted in accordance with applicable federal, provincial, municipal, and corporate policy, laws, rules, and regulations. This position has a direct impact on the timeliness and integrity of the procurement process. The Procurement Officer will engage in procurement planning with user departments, ensuring short-term and long-term strategic procurement goals are met.
