Virtual Pre-Forum Seminar

We have some exciting news to share with you regarding the workshops that were supposed to take place as a 2020 Pre-Forum event. We worked hard and partnered with Paul Emanuelli’s  Procurement Office, to bring the training to you in a virtual environment.

Procurement Office adapted their two full-day CPPC 2020 Forum workshops originally scheduled for live presentation in Calgary on October 31 and November 1, 2020 to an online format.

This new format offers the best of both worlds since workshop registrants will be able to access the training content in advance and earn credits towards the new Precision Drafting and Institutional Governance eLearning certificates and can then attend our live online group question and answer sessions for a deeper dive into the course content. Training material is created for the Drafting Evaluation Criteria workshop and for the Post Award Protocols workshop.

The eLearning materials will be made available to all registrants in advance of the live sessions starting on the week of September 28, 2020.

The live 90 minute sessions will run at the originally schedule dates for the Forum, with Drafting Evaluation Criteria set for 1 P.M. EST on November 02, Post Award Protocols set for 1:00 PM EST on November 3, and The Art of Strategic Execution plenary presentation set for 1:00 PM EST on November 4.

As an additional bonus, workshop registrants will also be invited to Paul Emanuelli’s plenary presentation on The Art of Strategic Execution and will receive a free copy of Paul’s new eBook The Art of Tendering.

As a special offer to CPPC members, we are very happy to advise that Paul and CPPC agreed to set the cost associated with this opportunity at discounted price of $200.00 per member/per workshop and 300$ for non members of CPPC per workshop. Plenary presentation will be provided for free.

Important Information Regarding Forum 2020

The new reality in which we have been immersed for several weeks is upsetting our current ways of doing things.  It forces us as procurement professionals to adapt to a constantly changing environment.  It also forces us as an organization to reposition ourselves in the face of our annual Forum.  It is therefore with regret that we are obliged to cancel our annual Forum scheduled for next November in Calgary.  We are currently working on various alternatives that will allow you to continue developing your professional skills while staying connected with your public procurement professional community.  Other details on virtual content will follow shortly.
