Royal Canadian Mint – Senior Manager, Business Partner Procurement

Reporting to the Director, Strategic Procurement, the Senior Manager, Business Partner Procurement is responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of complex plans, programs, strategies and processes within the Strategic Procurement Team. The incumbent provides technical/professional expertise at a senior working level and contributes to providing advice and functional direction on matters of a specialized and complex nature. The incumbent will play a key role in further optimizing Strategic Procurement’s Service Delivery Model and is responsible for leading a team of approximately 3 – 5 people. The role may include management of procurement operations functions and involvement in the planning and execution of procurement process and system transformation initiatives.

Royal Canadian Mint – Senior Category Specialist (2 x 2 year term positions)

You provide guidance to clients in the development of sourcing strategies and provide recommendations, executing complex procurement processes i.e. negotiable RFPs for high value procurements, achieving the best outcomes for the RCM.

You will work closely with legal services, clients and other internal stakeholders in the delivery of successful sourcing events from RFx development through to contracting.

Working collaboratively with clients and procurement leadership, you will provide input into the development and implementation of procurement strategies using customer and market driven insights.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Partner Procurement, the Senior Advisor, Strategic Procurement drives expertise in strategic sourcing with a category management framework, developing powerful supplier relationships.  The Senior Advisor holds the most senior position responsible for leading complex, high value procurements on behalf of the RCM. Through demonstrated leadership, influential business and financial acumen, the incumbent will solve complex issues daily to ensure the execution and delivery of positive outcomes on projects that drive bottom line improvements for the RCM. The Senior Advisor is also required to assess current and future business sourcing requirements with the business and to utilize this information for planning and approval purposes.
